Jane Hanlin

Jane M. Hanlin's primary focus is domestic relations and family law, which involves divorce, dissolution, custody, visitation (“parenting time”), child support, spousal support, division of assets and debts, and adoption.

A native of the Ohio Valley, she was born and raised in Wintersville, Ohio. She graduated from Wintersville High School in 1987 and earned her Bachelor's Degree from the Ohio State University in 1991, Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Franciscan University of Steubenville, IN, and Juris Doctorate from the Duquesne University School of Law in 2001.

She graduated magna cum laude at Duquesne, was the Executive Editor of the Law Review, and was honored with the Distinguished Student Award. She was also honored for courtroom skills in the Mock Trial Program at the School of Law.

Jane joined the firm of Bruzzese, Agresta and Hanlin in 2001, and since then she has devoted most of her time in her career to domestic relations and family law. These cases require special time and attention because they affect the most important aspects of the clients' lives.

Jeffrey J. Bruzzese

Jeffrey J. Bruzzese

Jeffrey J. Bruzzese graduated from the Ohio University in 2000. While at Ohio University, Mr. Bruzzese worked as the President of Students Defending Students for the Student Senate, an organization that assisted students in various law-related areas.

As a President, Mr. Bruzzese was also a Trustee for the Center for Student Advocacy, and he worked in conjunction with the Center for Student Advocacy defending students in various civil matters such as landlord-tenant disputes and students as they were processed through the University Disciplinary Procedures.

Mr. Bruzzese was also a member of the Review and Standards Committee for the Ohio University. Through that position, he worked directly with the University President and Vice-President in writing and re-writing the Rules and Regulations for Student Conduct for the Ohio University’s Student Handbook Policy and Procedures.

After graduating from the Ohio University, Mr. Bruzzese worked as a public school teacher for one year before entering Law School at The Capital University Law School in Columbus, Ohio. While in law school, Mr. Bruzzese worked with the Honorable Edmund Sargus at the Federal U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio and assisted the Court in making rulings and drafting entries, and legal research.

After graduating from law school in 2004, Mr. Bruzzese has focused his attention and practice on all civil matters relating to courtroom litigation. He worked for a few years at a law firm in Columbus, Ohio, while he focused solely on personal injury law litigation.

Upon returning to his hometown of Steubenville, Ohio, he joined the firm of Bruzzese, Agresta and Hanlin as a partner. Mr. Bruzzese has continued to focus his practice on aggressively litigating personal injury cases, business contract disputes, landlord-tenant disputes and other civil matters.

Frank Bruzzese

Mr. Bruzzese is “A” rated by Martindale Hubbell, and has a Peer Rating of 5.0 out of 5.0.

Frank Bruzzese is a 1971 graduate of Johns Hopkins University and 1974 cum laude graduate of the Ohio Northern University Petit College of Law, where he was a Senior Research Editor of the Law Review. Mr. Bruzzese holds a Juris Doctorate Degree and was inducted into the Willis Society of Legal Scholars.

Mr. Bruzzese is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, the Ohio Supreme Court, and all the federal and state courts in Ohio.

As a founding member of Bruzzese, Agresta and Hanlin, Mr. Bruzzese has practiced law as a Trial Attorney since 1974. He has dedicated the majority of his trial work to Personal Injury, Accident cases, and Product Liability cases. He also practices Healthcare Law as well as General Litigation.

Mr. Bruzzese has been an Adjunct Professor of Law at the Ohio Northern University Petit College of Law, and has authored a Law Review article entitled, “One Fault with Fault-Free Insurance.”

He is a former President of the Jefferson County Bar Association, and has frequently lectured at Continuing Legal Education Seminars where he has taught courses in trial tactics and strategy to fellow attorneys.

Born and raised in Steubenville, Ohio, Mr. Bruzzese is married to the former Ruth Anne Firm and he is the proud father of 5 children.
